bfm_BAHG_16022017 (2 of 23)Jacinta Crawley – Osteopath

Jacinta is a graduate of RMIT in the first years of formal Osteopathic university training in Australia. Jacinta completed her degree in 1993 before working in Sydney’s CBD and inner suburbs and then returning to her home town of Bendigo, Victoria. In 2004 Jacinta opened Bellarine Osteopathic Clinic in Ocean Grove, which operated until 2012 when the concept of Bellarine Allied Health Group was born.

Jacinta has a particular interest in anatomy which led her to become part of the teaching faculty at Deakin University’s postgraduate Medicine program from 2009 -2011.

In her Osteopathic work Jacinta sees people of all ages but particularly enjoys treating the elderly where the rewards can be so fulfilling. “Enabling someone to continue doing something they love, or just be a little more comfortable every day is great”.

Jacinta feels very lucky living and working in such a beautiful place. “I love that I know lots of my patients before I treat them, or their kids go to school with mine. I grew up in a big family in a small farming district, and while I don’t have that now, the Ocean Grove community is a great replacement”!

Jacinta is excited to be expanding the practice from offering only osteopathic care to a host of other allied health fields. While her background is in Osteopathy, Jacinta’s real satisfaction comes from finding the therapy, advice or exercise that works for every individual – a truly holistic approach that is Bellarine Allied Health Group.
